【摘要】:Thispracticeisprovidedtodevelopandmaintainuniformityfortheevaluationoftheloadcapacityofladderandtripodtypestandsandclimbingsticks,particularlywithregardtoqualityassuranceandsafetyfactors.Itisemphasizedthattheuseoftheseprocedureswillnotalterthevalidityofdatadeterminedwithspecifictestmethods,butprovidesguidanceintheinterpretationoftestresults(validorinvalid)andguidanceintheselectionofareasonabletestprocedureinthoseinstanceswherenostandardexiststoday.1.1Thispracticeprovidesguidancefortestingtheloadcapacityofladderandtripodtypetreestands.Thispracticealsoappliestoclimbingstickswhichshallmeetthesamerequirementsasthestepstoladderandtripodtypestands.Forchangestothisspecificationsincethelastissue,refertotheSummaryofChangessectionattheendofthestandard.1.2Thevaluesstatedareininch-poundunitsandaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
