【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthesuperplasticpropertiesofametallicsheetmaterialisimportantfortheobservation,developmentandcomparisonofsuperplasticmaterials.ItisalsonecessarytopredictthecorrectformingparametersduringanSPFprocess.SPFtensiletestinghaspeculiarcharacteristicscomparedtoconventionalmechanicaltesting,whichdistortthetruevaluesofstress,strain,strainhardening,andstrainrateattheverylargeelongationsencounteredinanSPFpulltest,consequentlyconventionalmechanicaltestmethodscannotbeused.Thistestmethodaddressesthosecharacteristicsbyoptimizingtheshapeofthetestcouponandspecifyinganewtestprocedure.Theevaluationofasuperplasticmaterialcanbedividedintotwoparts.Firstly,thebasicsuperplastic-forming(SPF)propertiesofthematerialaremeasuredusingthefourparametersofstress,temperature,strain,andstrainrate.Theseareobtainedusingconversionsfromtherawdataofatensiletest.Secondly,derivedpropertiesusefultodefineanSPFmaterialareobtainedfromthebasicpropertiesusingspecificequations.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedurefordeterminingthesuperplasticformingproperties(SPF)ofametallicsheetmaterial.ItincludestestsbothforthebasicSPFpropertiesandalsoforderivedSPFproperties.Thetestforbasicpropertiesencompasseseffectsduetostrainhardeningorsoftening.1.2Thistestmethodcoverssheetmaterialswiththicknessesofatleast0.5mmbutnotgreaterthan6mm.Itcharacterizesthematerialunderauni-axialtensilestresscondition.Note18212;Mostindustrialapplicationsofsuperplasticforminginvolveamulti-axialstressconditioninasheet;howeveritismoreconvenienttocharacterizeamaterialunderauni-axialtensilestresscondition.Testsshouldbeperformedindifferentorientationstotherollingdirectionofthesheettoascertaininitialanisotropy.1.3Thismethodhasbeenusedsuccessfullybetweenstrainratesof10-5to10-1persecond.1.4ThismethodhasbeenusedsuccessfullyonAluminumandTitaniumalloys.Theuseofthemethodwithothermetalsshouldbeverified.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
