【摘要】:AlthoughISO/IEC9594-4|CCITTX.518describestheDSAproceduresrelatingtoreferralsandSearchContinuationReferences,thispartofISO/IECISP10615doesnotdefinetheDUA'sroleinactingupontheseprocedures.ThispartofISO/IECISP10615specifiesthebehaviourofDUAswhentheyuseDAPtoaccessmultipleDSAsinthecourseofmakingasingleoriginalenquirywithouthumaninterventionintheformulationofprotocol.Multipleenquiriesresultfromreceivingcontinuationreferencesembeddedinreferrals,listresultsorsearchresults).DUAswhichdonothavethecapabilityoffollowingreferralsorSearchContinuationReferenceswithouthumaninterventionintheformulationofprotocolarenotwithinthescopeofthispartofISO/IECISP10615forthepurposesofconformance,althoughitsrecommendationsmaybeofvalue.NOTE-TheconformancerequirementsofthispartofISO/IECISP10615presumethescenariodepictedinFigure1:humanintervention(ifany)isrestrictedtothepossibilityofa"go/no-go"decision;inthecaseofconformancetesting,eachsuchdecisionispresumedtobe"go".ThescopeofthispartofISO/IECISP10615islimitedtomattersofprocedureinexercisingtheDAPprotocol,anddoesnotcoverenhancementsofservice.Itdoesnotcoverany(DAP)protocolencodingissues.NOTE-IntheabsenceofthispartofISO/IECISP10615,theimplementorofaDUAwiththecapabilityoffollowingcontinuationreferencesautomaticallywillneedtomakedesigndecisionsaboutthebehaviouroftheDUAwhendoingso.AnaimofthispartofISO/IECISP10615istominimiseuncertaintyandenhanceconsistencyinmakingdesignsolutionsbymeansoffunctionalstandardisation.ThispartofISO/IECISP10615addsnospuriouscomplexity,giventhattherequirementpre-existstofollowcontinuationreferencesautomatically2PositionwithinthetaxonomyThispartofISO/IECISP10615isidentifiedinISO/IECTR10000-2asADI31"Directory—DistributedOperations—DUASupportofDistributedOperations".3ScenarioThispartofISO/IECISP10615profilestheautonomousbehaviourofDUAswhenReferralsorSearchContinuationReferencesareusedbytheDirectory.ADUAcreatesanassociationtoaDSAofitschoice,andinvokesanoperation.TheDSAmayreturnareferralinsteadofaresult,ortheresultmaycontaincontinuationreferences.ThelatteroccurinthecaseofListorSearchoperationsinwhichtheDSAisunwillingorunabletocompletethesearch,butisabletoadvisewhichotherDSAsmaybeabletoassist.ThepossibleactionswhichmaythenbetakenbyaDUA,withouthumaninterventionexceptpossiblythetakingofa"go/no-go"decision,arespecifiedinthispartofISO/IECISP10615.
