【摘要】:AirLeakageRelativetoSoundTransmission8212;Certainfrequenciesaremoresusceptibletosoundtransmissionthroughcavitiesordiscontinuitiesinthetestspecimen;therefore,theairleakageofthetestspecimenisreportedtoallowtheapprovingauthorityinformationrelativetoairtightness.Note18212;TheAAMA/WDMA/CSA101/I.S.2/A440documentprovidesairleakageacceptancecriteriafortheseproductsbasedontheirperformanceclass.Acousticalproductscouldrequirealowerairleakageratethanwhatisrequiredinthisstandardinordertoachievethedesiredacousticalperformance.OperatingForceRelativetoSoundTransmission8212;Theuseofspecificsealingcomponentstoachieveagivensoundratingcouldaffectoperatingforceoftheverticalorhorizontalslidingsashorpanelsoftheassembly;therefore,operatingforceisreportedtoallowtheapprovingauthorityinformationrelativetosashorpaneloperatingforces.Note28212;Theopeningforcein28CFRPart36ADAforinteriorhingeddoorsandslidingdoorsislimitedto22.2N(5lbf).TheAAMA/WDMA/CSA101/I.S.2/A440documentprovidesoperatingforceacceptancecriteriaforproductsbasedontheirperformanceclass.LatchingforceRelativetoSoundTransmission8212;Latchingforcecanaffectthecompressionofsealsandtheamountofdampingappliedtothesystemthatinturnaffectstheairleakageandtheacousticalperformance.Theuseofspecificsealingcomponentsandlatching/lockinghardwarecanaffecttheforcerequiredtocloseandlatchthedoorundertest.Thelatchingforceisreportedtoallowtheapprovingauthorityinformationrelativetosashorpanellatchingconditions.Note38212;TheAAMA/WDMA/CSA101/I.S.2/A440documentstatesthatthelatchingforceshallnotexceed65N(15lbf).1.1Thispracticeestablishesrequirementsfortestingandratingacousticalperformanceofwindow,door,skylight,andglazedwallsystems,regardlessoftheirmethodormaterialsofmanufacture.1.1.1Operatingforce,latchingforce,andairleakageareintegralelementsoftheacousticalperformanceofwindow,door,skylight,andglazedwallsystems.Thispracticerequires(whenapplicable)theconcurrenttestingofoperatingforce,latchingforce,andairleakage,inadditiontothesoundtransmissionlosstest.1.2Thispracticeestablishesthetestmethodology,specimencriteria,andclassificationratingsystemforpurposesofdeterminingtheacousticalperformancelevelsofwindow,door,skylight,andglazedwallsystemsonly,andnotthroughopeningsbetweensuchassembliesandadjacentconstruction.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
